Live Newcastle

So, Live Newcastle's finally launched!  Can I believe it?  No, not really.

 

Yesterday was pretty hectic with trying to get everything completed, but I slowly worked through my (rather long) to-do list, eventually managing to tick every last item off.

 

I'm confident though, that, other than the early-on hitch, there won't be any hiccups with the launch.  Some of the sections are looking a bit thin at the moment, but these are going to fill up pretty quickly.

 

There are a number of establishments which are going to be added to the site soon, it's just a question of working my way through them.  Yesterday consisted of checking and editing every single listing, as well as adding new ones and uploading pictures. 

 

I also managed to finally sort the website's newsletter in time for launch.  If you'd like to be kept up-to-date on what's going on in Newcastle, you can become a member and receive our newsletter so you don't miss a thing.  Metroland have kindly offered two family passes for our launch competition - all you need to do is register for a chance to win. 

 

It's early days, but I'm confident that Live Newcastle can become the top resource for residents and visitors alike.  But this can only happen with your help - if you run a business, or think something should be listed, please get in touch!  It's completely free to list on the website, so there really is nothing to lose.

 

Sitting here writing this at half past midnight, I should probably be spending my time checking things one last time, so I'll update with a longer post later today, and with details of how the launch went.
